The UserTenant record (UserTenant) is a record type in Chalk, the higher-education academic operations platform for curriculum, assessment, faculty, scheduling, accreditation, and budget. Each UserTenant row is scoped to a tenant and stores fields such as id, userId, tenantId, role, isActive, joinedAt, user, tenant, userRoles. These fields hold the data Chalk needs to track a user tenant as faculty, staff, and automations work with it. Because every UserTenant row carries a tenantId, one institution's user tenant data is never visible to another.
