Workload config — credit hour weight

credit hour weight (WorkloadConfig.creditHourWeight) is a field stored on each workload config record in Chalk, the higher-education academic operations platform for curriculum, assessment, faculty, scheduling, accreditation, and budget. It holds a Float value and is part of the workload config record's data. The creditHourWeight field belongs to the workload config it is recorded on, so faculty, staff, and automations read or set creditHourWeight while working with that WorkloadConfig record. Because creditHourWeight is part of the WorkloadConfig record, it stays consistent with the rest of that record's data and is scoped to the tenant that owns the workload config.
