The WorkloadConfig record (WorkloadConfig) is a record type in Chalk, the higher-education academic operations platform for curriculum, assessment, faculty, scheduling, accreditation, and budget. Each WorkloadConfig row is scoped to a tenant and stores fields such as id, tenantId, departmentId, standardLoad, creditHourWeight, labWeight, largeClassThreshold, largeClassWeight, newPrepWeight, onlineWeight. These fields hold the data Chalk needs to track a workload config as faculty, staff, and automations work with it. Because every WorkloadConfig row carries a tenantId, one institution's workload config data is never visible to another.
