total load (WorkloadProfile.totalLoad) is a field stored on each workload profile record in Chalk, the higher-education academic operations platform for curriculum, assessment, faculty, scheduling, accreditation, and budget. It holds a Float value and is part of the workload profile record's data. The totalLoad field belongs to the workload profile it is recorded on, so faculty, staff, and automations read or set totalLoad while working with that WorkloadProfile record. Because totalLoad is part of the WorkloadProfile record, it stays consistent with the rest of that record's data and is scoped to the tenant that owns the workload profile.
