createdBy on a FieldVisit identifies whether the field record was entered by the technician in the field (via mobile) or by office staff after the visit. This is distinct from technician, which names the person who physically conducted the visit. Knowing createdBy helps data managers verify data entry provenance and follow up with the correct person if questions arise about how the FieldVisit was logged.
