The notes field on a ReportPackage is for the report team's internal use, separate from the narrative content authored in ReportSection records. Use it for things like "waiting for lab reissue of MW-07 results before finalizing Section 4" or "client requested executive summary addition — pending." Because these notes do not appear in the rendered ReportVersion PDF, they are safe for candid internal communication. They remain visible to all team members with access to the package in Piper throughout the drafting process.
