Report Section

A ReportSection stores the narrative content for one part of a regulatory report — such as the Introduction, Site Background, or Results Discussion — as a Markdown body. Sections have an order field that determines their sequence in the rendered document.

Each ReportSection within a ReportPackage corresponds to a chapter or section heading in the final compliance report. You author the bodyMarkdown using Markdown syntax, and Piper renders it to formatted text when a ReportVersion PDF is generated. The order field controls the sequence in which sections appear in the report. Setting included to false lets you draft a section without including it in the next render — useful for sections that are pending review or awaiting data. The kind field classifies the section type for template matching.
