Sampling Event Notes

The notes field on a SamplingEvent lets field staff and compliance managers capture contextual information that does not fit into structured fields — for example, observations about well turbidity, equipment issues during purging, unusual weather conditions, or chain-of-custody anomalies. This context is important when reviewing AnalyticalResults: a note indicating the well was dry or the pump malfunctioned explains why certain results may be atypical and should not trigger alarm over a potential exceedance without further investigation.
