The role field on SiteContact is a free-form label describing the person's relationship to the site — for example, "State Regulatory Project Manager," "Lead Hydrogeologist," "Property Owner," or "Lab Account Manager." This label appears in the contacts list and on report cover pages. Unlike the SiteRole enum (which controls user permissions), SiteContact.role is purely descriptive and used for communication and document formatting.
