Assigning a distinct color to each WellGroup makes it easy to visually distinguish groups on the site map and in multi-group trend charts. For example, upgradient wells might appear in blue while source zone wells appear in red. The color field on WellGroup accepts a standard hex or named color value and is applied consistently across dashboards and exported figures.
