The name field appears in well group filter dropdowns, chart legends, report tables, and the site map. Choose names that reflect hydrogeologic role or spatial location — for example, "Upgradient Background," "Source Area," or "Perimeter Monitoring." WellGroup names must be unique within a site so reports and filters remain unambiguous.
