Artifact Catalog Number

`Artifact.catalogNumber` is the permanent identifier assigned to an artifact, unique within its project.

The catalogNumber is how an artifact is referenced for the rest of its life — on labels, in reports, and in storage records. It must be unique within the project, so two finds in the same project can never share a number. The format follows the tenant's catalogNumberFormat setting (for example a project prefix followed by a sequence). Because numbering is scoped per project, different projects can reuse the same sequence values without collision. This field is required on every artifact.
