The crewPresent field records which crew members worked on the day a DailyLog covers, written as free text — for example a list of names or a headcount like "6 field techs plus 1 supervisor". It is optional, but it is useful for reconstructing labor on the project: combined with the workSummary, it explains how much was achieved relative to how many hands were available, and it helps account for who can speak to a particular day's contexts. Because it is free text, teams can record crew in whatever level of detail their project needs.
