Daily Log

A DailyLog is the daily field-journal entry for a Project. There is exactly one log per project per `date`, written by an `author`.

Everyday

A DailyLog captures everything that happened on a single day of fieldwork. Each entry records the weather and temperature, who showed up as crewPresent, a required workSummary of what was accomplished, plus optional fields for notableFinds, problems, visitors, and free-text notes. Because Relic allows only one log per project per day, the daily log becomes the authoritative diary of a dig: you can read straight through it to reconstruct the season, cross-check against photographs and artifact records, and answer questions like which days were rained out or when a key feature first appeared. The author is the crew member who wrote the entry.
