The tenantId on an EventInbox row ties each received cross-product event to the organization it concerns, so that processing and lookups stay scoped to the right tenant. It is set from the event itself when the message is received rather than typed by a user. Combined with the event type, it is indexed so Relic can quickly find all events of a given kind for a given tenant — for example to review what a particular product has sent. Deleting a tenant cascades to remove its inbox rows.
