Feature North Extent

The `northExtent` on a `Feature` records how far the feature extends toward the north, one of the four horizontal limits that together describe its plan-view footprint.

The northExtent of a Feature captures the feature's northern edge as a measured distance, part of the set of northExtent, southExtent, eastExtent, and westExtent that bound its shape in plan. Recording all four lets you reconstruct the feature's horizontal size and rough outline even after it has been excavated and backfilled, which is essential for site maps and for understanding how features relate spatially to one another. A WALL or STRUCTURE may stretch a long way north; a single POSTHOLE will have a small extent. The value is optional and is measured against the unit grid so that the four extents can be plotted consistently.
