Every LabBatch carries a tenantId that ties it to the organization it belongs to, enforcing multi-tenant isolation so one organization's lab batches never appear to another. You do not normally set this field by hand — it comes from your authenticated session — but it underpins every list and lookup of lab work. It also powers the indexes that let staff filter batches by processing stage or by the person they are assigned to, all scoped within a single tenant.
