A LabBatch organizes the laboratory phase of a project, when artifacts recovered in the field are processed indoors. Each batch has a batchNumber that is unique within its Project, a stage describing the current processing step (defaulting to WASHING), and an optional assignedTo user responsible for the work. The startDate and completedDate track the processing window, and notes capture any details. Artifacts are linked to the batch through the artifacts relation, so you can see exactly which finds are in a given batch. Every LabBatch belongs to a tenant and a project.
