A Project moves through ProjectStatus values as work progresses. PROPOSED is a planned project not yet started. ACTIVE means work is underway. FIELDWORK_COMPLETE marks the end of digging and site recording, after which material moves indoors. LAB_PROCESSING covers washing, cataloging, and analyzing the recovered artifacts. REPORT_WRITING is the documentation phase where findings are written up. COMPLETE means all deliverables are finished, and ARCHIVED indicates the project records have been closed out and stored for long-term curation.
