Site Longitude

The `longitude` on a Site is its optional east-west geographic coordinate in decimal degrees.

The longitude field records how far east or west a Site sits, expressed in decimal degrees. Paired with latitude, it fixes an exact point that mapping and GIS tools can plot directly, letting you locate the site precisely regardless of its parent Project's coordinates. It is stored with up to seven decimal places, enough precision to pin the site down to within a few centimeters when your survey data is that accurate. Like the latitude, it is optional, so a site documented only by its trinomial or a descriptive areaExtent can leave it empty. When GPS coordinates are available, recording both longitude and latitude makes the site ready to display on any standard map.
