The tenantId on a StratigraphicLayer records which tenant the layer belongs to. You never enter it manually — Relic derives it from your authenticated session when the layer is created. It is the foundation of tenant isolation, keeping one organization's stratigraphic records private from every other. The same tenantId backs the relation to the parent Tenant and appears in the index Relic uses to scope layer queries to the current tenant.
