The Document.caseId field holds the case reference for a Document record in Locker. It is a text value stored on each Document, and staff see and set it wherever Document records are managed. Keeping caseId accurate matters because the Document is part of how Locker tracks occupancy, billing, and the delinquency-to-auction workflow for the facility.
