Intake Weight

The animal's weight at intake, in pounds. You'll enter it in pounds the normal way; behind the scenes it's kept as a whole number of hundredths of a pound so the figure stays exact all the way from the scale to settlement. Optional at intake — most selling weights come from a weigh ticket at the ring — but a recorded intake weight helps with sorting and reconciliation.
