Lot status

Where a lot is in its life — pending, in the ring, sold, no-sale, rebroke, or withdrawn.

A lot moves through these states:

  • Pending — built and waiting to run.

  • In ring — currently being sold.

  • Sold — a buyer won it; a sale transaction exists.

  • No-sale — ran but didn't sell (see no-sale reason).

  • Rebroke — merged or split into other lots; superseded.

  • Withdrawn — pulled before it ever ran.

Only one lot per ring is "in ring" at a time. Rebroke means the lot's animals live on in a different lot, while withdrawn means they left the sale entirely.
