The CohortPairConstraint record (CohortPairConstraint) is a record type in Chalk, the higher-education academic operations platform for curriculum, assessment, faculty, scheduling, accreditation, and budget. Each CohortPairConstraint row is scoped to a tenant and stores fields such as id, tenantId, sessionId, type, scope, participantAId, participantBId, createdAt, tenant, session. These fields hold the data Chalk needs to track a cohort pair constraint as faculty, staff, and automations work with it. Because every CohortPairConstraint row carries a tenantId, one institution's cohort pair constraint data is never visible to another.
