The College record (College) is a record type in Chalk, the higher-education academic operations platform for curriculum, assessment, faculty, scheduling, accreditation, and budget. Each College row is scoped to a tenant and stores fields such as id, tenantId, campusId, name, code, deanName, createdAt, updatedAt, tenant, campus. These fields hold the data Chalk needs to track a college as faculty, staff, and automations work with it. Because every College row carries a tenantId, one institution's college data is never visible to another.
