The ProposalComment record (ProposalComment) is a record type in Chalk, the higher-education academic operations platform for curriculum, assessment, faculty, scheduling, accreditation, and budget. Each ProposalComment row is scoped to a tenant and stores fields such as id, tenantId, proposalId, authorId, authorName, content, createdAt, updatedAt, tenant, proposal. These fields hold the data Chalk needs to track a proposal comment as faculty, staff, and automations work with it. Because every ProposalComment row carries a tenantId, one institution's proposal comment data is never visible to another.
