The ProposalVersion record (ProposalVersion) is a record type in Chalk, the higher-education academic operations platform for curriculum, assessment, faculty, scheduling, accreditation, and budget. Each ProposalVersion row is scoped to a tenant and stores fields such as id, tenantId, proposalId, versionNumber, changes, changeNotes, createdBy, createdAt, tenant, proposal. These fields hold the data Chalk needs to track a proposal version as faculty, staff, and automations work with it. Because every ProposalVersion row carries a tenantId, one institution's proposal version data is never visible to another.
