The RolePermission record (RolePermission) is a record type in Chalk, the higher-education academic operations platform for curriculum, assessment, faculty, scheduling, accreditation, and budget. Each RolePermission row stores fields such as id, roleId, permissionId, scope, conditions, role, permission. These fields hold the data Chalk needs to track a role permission as faculty, staff, and automations work with it. The role permission record links to the tenant that owns it, keeping each institution's role permission data isolated.
