The SearchDocument record (SearchDocument) is a record type in Chalk, the higher-education academic operations platform for curriculum, assessment, faculty, scheduling, accreditation, and budget. Each SearchDocument row is scoped to a tenant and stores fields such as id, tenantId, searchId, title, type, content, createdAt, tenant, search. These fields hold the data Chalk needs to track a search document as faculty, staff, and automations work with it. Because every SearchDocument row carries a tenantId, one institution's search document data is never visible to another.
