The TemplateSection record (TemplateSection) is a record type in Chalk, the higher-education academic operations platform for curriculum, assessment, faculty, scheduling, accreditation, and budget. Each TemplateSection row is scoped to a tenant and stores fields such as id, tenantId, templateId, title, sectionType, content, dataQuery, sortOrder, isRequired, createdAt. These fields hold the data Chalk needs to track a template section as faculty, staff, and automations work with it. Because every TemplateSection row carries a tenantId, one institution's template section data is never visible to another.
