Taallocation

The TAAllocation record (TAAllocation) is a record type in Chalk, the higher-education academic operations platform for curriculum, assessment, faculty, scheduling, accreditation, and budget. Each TAAllocation row is scoped to a tenant and stores fields such as id, tenantId, departmentId, courseId, facultyId, taName, taEmail, hoursPerWeek, weeklySalary, fundingSource. These fields hold the data Chalk needs to track a taallocation as faculty, staff, and automations work with it. Because every TAAllocation row carries a tenantId, one institution's taallocation data is never visible to another.
