Transition packet

The TransitionPacket record (TransitionPacket) is a record type in Chalk, the higher-education academic operations platform for curriculum, assessment, faculty, scheduling, accreditation, and budget. Each TransitionPacket row is scoped to a tenant and stores fields such as id, tenantId, departmentId, title, status, generatedAt, generatedBy, content, customNotes, createdAt. These fields hold the data Chalk needs to track a transition packet as faculty, staff, and automations work with it. Because every TransitionPacket row carries a tenantId, one institution's transition packet data is never visible to another.
