The Rubric record (Rubric) is a record type in Chalk, the higher-education academic operations platform for curriculum, assessment, faculty, scheduling, accreditation, and budget. Each Rubric row is scoped to a tenant and stores fields such as id, tenantId, departmentId, name, type, description, isShared, createdAt, updatedAt, tenant. These fields hold the data Chalk needs to track a rubric as faculty, staff, and automations work with it. Because every Rubric row carries a tenantId, one institution's rubric data is never visible to another.
