The TeachingRecord record (TeachingRecord) is a record type in Chalk, the higher-education academic operations platform for curriculum, assessment, faculty, scheduling, accreditation, and budget. Each TeachingRecord row is scoped to a tenant and stores fields such as id, tenantId, facultyId, termId, courseCode, courseTitle, sectionNumber, credits, enrollment, modality. These fields hold the data Chalk needs to track a teaching record as faculty, staff, and automations work with it. Because every TeachingRecord row carries a tenantId, one institution's teaching record data is never visible to another.
