The ImprovementLoop record (ImprovementLoop) is a record type in Chalk, the higher-education academic operations platform for curriculum, assessment, faculty, scheduling, accreditation, and budget. Each ImprovementLoop row is scoped to a tenant and stores fields such as id, tenantId, outcomeId, planId, reassessmentPlanId, status, gapDescription, gapType, analysisNotes, preScore. These fields hold the data Chalk needs to track a improvement loop as faculty, staff, and automations work with it. Because every ImprovementLoop row carries a tenantId, one institution's improvement loop data is never visible to another.
