Budget request

The BudgetRequest record (BudgetRequest) is a record type in Chalk, the higher-education academic operations platform for curriculum, assessment, faculty, scheduling, accreditation, and budget. Each BudgetRequest row is scoped to a tenant and stores fields such as id, tenantId, planningCycleId, workspaceId, requestingNodeId, targetNodeId, title, amount, approvedAmount, justification. These fields hold the data Chalk needs to track a budget request as faculty, staff, and automations work with it. Because every BudgetRequest row carries a tenantId, one institution's budget request data is never visible to another.
